Block any working software

Sometime many users use one computer. For this reason we have to need to safe our personal secret things and we need to block several software and program. If you uninstall software user cannot access this software or program but sometime many users use portable software or program. If you block selected program's process then you easily control users.


There is a software in windows operating system to block selected process, this is called "Process blocker".

This is a very small software, you can use it free from www.processblocker.com,


  • At first you need to install this software.
  • Then configure Process Blocker or fron installed folder run 'List Editor'.
  • Now from "Block the following applications List" tab > check "Block the following applications". 
  • Now click 'Add' button and choose the  program to block, write down name of program (Such as: For block Notepad, write only notepad.exe) or you can browse the program to add. Click ok.


If you want  to unblock any program just click the remove button.

Now if you want to reactive, you need to computer restart. Or
go to run command > write "services.msc" > hit enter button. Then right click to "Process Blocker" service and click 'Restart'.

Now check those programs. Those programs are not running and you see the notification to system tray.

If you do not want to see notification and want to close it, go to "information and statics" tab and unchecked "Display tray notifications when listed applications are blocked".

If you want to hide this system for other users, just delete shortcut from start menu.
